The African word Ubuntu is the theme here at HWH. Desmond Tutu explains:
Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can’t exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can’t be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality – Ubuntu – you are known for your generosity.
HWH embraces interdependence through mutual giving and receiving in solidarity with one another as THE sustainable model for a joyful and healthy life. We are pledging our solidarity with Afghan women.
